Hatha Flow Yoga Teacher

Yin and Restorative Yoga Teacher

“Yoga is about finding balance in both the body and the mind; what we need from each practice can change each time we arrive on our mat.”

Having practiced yoga for more than 10 years, it’s a joy and a privilege to now be able to share my passion through teaching, whilst remaining forever the student. Over the years, yoga has become an integral part of my life, helping me to cultivate both physical strength and mental clarity. Yoga is about finding balance in both the body and the mind, and I believe that what we each need from our practice to achieve that state of being is different and can change each time we arrive on our mat. This dynamic and evolving nature of yoga is what makes the practice so profound and personal for each individual.

With a background in counselling and psychotherapy, I’m especially interested in how yoga can support mental and emotional well-being, alongside optimal physical health and vitality.

For me, that’s looked like practicing many different styles of yoga over the years, from Ashtanga to Vinyasa Flow, Yin, and Restorative, and so much more. I can also be found delving into the rich philosophies of different yoga traditions. This diverse exploration has deepened my understanding and appreciation of yoga, allowing me to bring a well-rounded perspective to my teaching.

As a yoga teacher, I’ll work with you to guide and support you towards finding balance through your own personal practice. Seeing my students benefit from their yoga practice is the ultimate reward. With a background in counselling and psychotherapy and a career in people management, I’m especially interested in how yoga can support mental and emotional well-being, alongside optimal physical health and vitality.

See you on the mat, Jen xx
