An anxious mind is the result of a stressed out body. A stressed out body is the result of an overactive mind. Connecting to your breath, slowing your brain down – will help you focus on the positive things and there will be less space for anxious thought. With stress and anxiety, it is often the feeling of not being in control that makes the whole thing so much worse. Taking the matter into your own hands and believing that you have the ability to enjoy every day is totally life-changing.
I have recorded this 15 minute practice so that you can easily factor it into your day and can do it any time of the day or night. Some people like to do it after a yoga session or workout, others prefer to do it at night or first thing in the morning. Experiment and see what you prefer!
